What to expect?

During this tour, you will experience the indigenous way of life. We visit a Bri-Bri Awá shaman who will give us an insight into indigenous cosmovision in his Usirí dome house that includes strong traditional ecologic awareness. Later we hike to a non-touristic beautiful waterfall where we will take a bath in crystal clear natural jacuzzis. After that, we will learn how food, building materials, inks, medicines and even weapons are made from plants grown in our Bri-Bri long-term friends' farm. We will also see a poison dart frog nursery and participate in a hands on chocolate ceremony where we learn all the steps of delicious artesian chocolate making by the woman of this community.

Planet One World's Dugout Canoe Tour (overnight stay)

What to expect?

We will spend one and a half day in the amazing high talamanca Bri-Bri reserve. 3 - 4 hours will be just in the canoe enjoying an epic river ride through the rainforest and several indigenous settlements. Once in the agroecologic village we will experience the world of our long-term friends, a world away from civilization, roads and electricity.

3 - 4 hours dugout canoe ride, overnight stay in remote indigenous village, all meals, indigenous village tour with family atmosphere, introduction to BriBri acriculture and culture, taxi and transport.

What to expect?

Seed means Society for Ecological Education and Development and is an intentional community were several families guided by experts in sustainable living have established agreat example of how humanity can live in harmony with nature! We will spend half a day in this farm learning about astonishing practices in sustainable food production, green energies, alternative building, water and soil management and generally about sustainable lifestyles within an intentional community.

Pick up and drop off, drive to the highland behind Cahuita, farm style lunch, bath in the crystal clear waters of surrounding rivers, a lot of fun and new friends.

What to expect?

Learn everything about the Caribbean tropical rainforest including plants, healing plants and wild animals. We teach you how to locate yourself, how to survive in the forest and how to react in clash with wild animals. Build up new ranger camps, sleep in hammocks, enjoy nature and feel this adventure.
